Join Charlie on a magical journey inside the Wonka Chocolate Factory in Willy Wonka Jr.! Packed with unforgettable characters, imaginative settings, and lively songs, this family-friendly musical brings Roald Dahl’s classic story to life with heart, humor, and a touch of pure imagination.
Camp dates: June 29-July 24 (no camp June 30 and July 3)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:00 PM
Location: Houma Municipal Auditorium
Ages: 8-15
PLEASE NOTE: Your child must be at least 8 years old by audition day, June 6th. If your child is 15, they must be 15 years old throughout all of camp, which ends July 26th.

Total Cost: $400 due at registration
$350 Camp Tuition + $50 Non-Refundable Registration Fee & Non-Refundable Eventbrite Fee
Refund Policy:
A full refund, minus registration and signup fees, will be issued if a request to withdraw is emailed to solacenterarts@gmail.com before the parent meeting on May 20, 2026.
The final day to withdraw with a tuition refund (minus registration and signup fees) is May 19, 2026.
This deadline allows families on the waitlist the opportunity to attend the parent meeting.
Auditions will be held at SoLa's Southland Mall location. All performers will sign up for one audition slot. Auditions are first-come, first-served. You will receive more information about how to sign up once your child is registered. For auditions, everyone must sing, dance, and act.

PLEASE NOTE:
Roles will be assigned according to which student is the best fit for the role during auditions. Casting will not be done according to level of experience or prior roles in other productions.
The full time may not be needed, and some performers may be released earlier than others. We appreciate your patience and flexibility throughout the process.
Excused absences include an illness that prevents the performer from participating in rehearsal or a previously scheduled school event that cannot be rescheduled. All absences must be communicated to the director. If absences are not communicated or unexcused, this could result in the performer being pulled from numbers, scenes, etc.
Family vacations are not an excused absence.
Because this is a team production, every performer’s presence matters and directly impacts the overall production.
